Hello Cupcake!

I know, I know, this isn't my cooking blog. But the thing is, this is special. This is not your average cupcake post. Ohh no, this is much more. I decided to document my baking adventure this evening through pictures. Not even good pictures, but crappy MacBook pictures! Let the story begin...

Once there was a girl. Her name was Sydney. She liked scarves, the color yellow and baking cupcakes. She also liked aprons. They made her feel like a pretty pretty princess....

So, because she loved to bake so much, she started off to make chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow frosting and cute little sprinkles. Yum! This was exciting since she was able to use her industrial size bakes 24 at a time super awesome cupcake pan. She mixed everything up and then they were all pretty in the lovely red wrappers, just waiting for her to put them into the oven.

Once the cupcakes were in the oven, she set out to make the frosting. She was amazed to discover that she had used up a whole bottle of vanilla since only Sunday!

The cupcakes were done and ready to sit on the cooling rack for a bit while she finished up with the frosting.

Oh boy! Just look at that stuff.

There was soo much of it! She had tripled the recipe just in case, maybe she had made too much. She didn't let this slow her down though.

She put the shiny white frosting in to a piping bag and off she went to cover the cupcakes with their fluffy topping.

Then she added the rainbow colored sprinkles. Just look at how much fun she was having!

Yay! The cupcakes were all done :D

But what to do with all of this left over frosting?!

"I know! I'll make a layer cake." She said with excitement. She mixed everything up, put the pans into the oven and set the timer. It seemed like it was taking forever!

So to fill her time, she decided to be a spatula pirate...

Woopsie! She accidentally dropped one of the pans while getting it out of the oven.

Now that the cakes were done, she just had to wait for them to cool off. If only that would happen faster!

The cake was complete! Boy, that sure is a lot of frosting...

Even though the frosting was starting to slide off due to the fact that she used all of the extra, which was a LOT, she was still happy. Hopefully everything will stay together and in the morning her refrigerator isn't covered in cake!

THE END.
